Working with Exquise Next Generation, or choosing between the two? Odontium lets you choose between your own server and our cloud, runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, and has a word processor, spreadsheets and a PDF editor built in, so you need no Office licence per workstation. Six disciplines work in one record, and with a question you call someone who knows Odontium.
You choose where your data lives: on your own server or in our private cloud, on our own servers in the Netherlands. And you can still switch later.
A word processor, spreadsheets, a PDF editor and an image editor are part of Odontium itself. That saves a Microsoft Office licence per workstation, every year.
Odontium runs natively on all three, with light system requirements. You work on the computers you already have.
We publish no end date for your version. You move when it suits you, not because support is running out.
Because we ship per practice, we can add a button or a feature that only your practice needs. You do not wait for a standard release for everyone.
With Odontium on your own server, the practice simply carries on. In our cloud, two months of schedule stay encrypted on the PC.

We take over your records, calendar and history from Exquise, whether you run Next Generation, Classic or ExqLean. X-rays move with them, also when they live in VisiQuick or Romexis. You test on a trial migration with your own data first, and choose the day you switch. Running Exquise Classic or ExqLean Classic? Support for those runs until 31 December 2028.
No. The word processor, spreadsheets, PDF editor and image editor are part of Odontium, so you need no Office licence per workstation.
Yes. You choose between an on-premise installation on your own server and our cloud, and you can move between them later.
No, we announce no end of support. You switch when it suits your practice.
Almost certainly. We connect directly to VisiQuick, Dürr VistaSoft, Sidexis, Planmeca Romexis and VDDS (such as MediaDent), among others, and Odontium is a DICOM node itself, with a worklist. There is also our own viewer with filters, measurements and CBCT. The radiography page has the full overview.
Six: dentistry, dental hygiene, denture care, dental technology, orthodontics and implant dentistry. All six work in the same record and communicate with each other, with their own permissions per practitioner. Periodontics and orthodontics are full modules, designed together with practitioners from those fields.
