Odontium vs Novadent
Do you work with Novadent, on-premise or in Tandarts in de Wolken? Odontium runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, with your data on your own server or in our private cloud. A word processor, spreadsheets and a PDF editor are built in, and Kiwa certified Odontium for NEN 7510, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, with numbers. When you have a question, you speak to someone who knows Odontium straight away.
What Odontium does differently from Novadent
Mac, Linux or Windows
Odontium is a native application on all three. A Mac at the front desk or a Linux PC in the surgery works just as well.
Your server or our cloud
The same Odontium on your own server or in our private cloud, on our own servers in the Netherlands, with no American cloud provider in between.
Office software built in
TSE Office brings a word processor, spreadsheets, a PDF editor and an image editor to every workstation, inside the package.

Switching from Novadent
We take over your records, schedule and history from Novadent, whether your practice works on-premise or in Tandarts in de Wolken. Your radiographs move to Odontium with them. A trial migration on your own data shows beforehand that everything is right, and you choose the day you switch.
Questions about Odontium and Novadent
Can I bring my data from Tandarts in de Wolken?
Yes. We take it over, whether your Novadent runs on-premise or in the Complan cloud. The trial migration shows you beforehand that everything is right.
Do I need office software besides Odontium?
No. With TSE Office you write letters in .docx and overviews in .xlsx, and edit PDFs and photos inside Odontium itself.
Where can I check Odontium's certificates?
On our security page. It lists the numbers for NEN 7510, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, and you can open each Kiwa certificate as a PDF.
Do dentist and dental hygienist work in the same record in Odontium?
Yes. All disciplines work in one record, each with its own permissions and its own calendar per practitioner.
Can I send email through Zivver and ZorgMail from Odontium?
Yes, both. You send secure email from Odontium itself, without switching to another program.
